The PDX spike has been utilized for gatherings of friends and strangers alike. This spike has been used to bowl, pickle, haunt, confuse, and gather geocachers.
This time is no different, as our plan is to invade the coast hideway city of Cannon Beach. Here we will have a excellent beach fire, while flying kites, making castles, throwing frisbees (now is your chance Bazzle!) and other beach activities. At night, a night time only cache will be released. Bring a flashlight and your GPS to locate this cache. The sand filtered fun event will go into the night.
The event is on August 2nd. The coordinates are not the final location. They mark the location of the 'Stack'. You will be able to find us by a marker flag placed at the site, or glowstick at night. You can also contact us on FRS radio channel 02 code 0. We will be a short distance from the coodinates listed, as I cannot guarentee our final location. You can also give me a email before Saturday and I will give you my cell number. Official event start time is 5-ish. If I aint there yet, go ahead start your festivities, I will get there soon enough. In the immortal words of Jeff Spicoli: "Hey Bud! Lets Party!!"
