Syntonix’ Secret Hideout (SSH) is een spannende multi-cache in Zuid-Limburg. De eerste opdracht is een internet puzzel en de overige opdrachten zijn traditionele geocache punten. De gehele cache tocht beslaat minimaal 3.5km lopen en 25km rijden. Het is raadzaam deze cache met z’n tweeën te doen.
De cache is een grote munitiekist die bij plaatsing gevuld is met 50+ ruilitems. S.v.p. ruilen met items van gelijke waarde en geen bederfelijke waren achterlaten in de cache. Teken het logboek en neem optioneel een foto met de wegwerpcamera (beide items moeten in de cache blijven!). Als het fotorolletje vol is worden de foto’s op deze webpagina gezet. Het is belangrijk dat de cache netjes wordt achtergelaten en in de staat waarin deze gevonden is.
Alleen bij uiterste nood op locatie kan gebruik worden gemaakt van de hulplijn (hierboven genoemde coördinaten). Laptop gebruikers: Op deze plek kan gratis gebruik worden gemaakt van de WiFi hotspot met netwerk naam 'interpret'.

Opdracht 3. Typo
Zoek de “Power General” stroomkabel van de O2 elektrakast en neem alle letters van het label. Zet deze om in cijfers (A=1,Z=26) en tel alle cijfers bij elkaar op. Draai dit getal om en vermenigvuldig met 10.

Voor het versleutelen van onder andere hints gebruikt geocaching.com het ROT13 versleutelingsprotocol. ROT staat voor “rotate” en het getal 13 geeft aan hoeveel posities de letters in het alfabet opschuiven. A wordt N, Z wordt M. Omdat het geocachers wel erg makkelijk wordt gemaakt met de “decrypt”-knop op geocaching.com is onderstaande hint niet met ROT13 versleuteld, maar met een versleutelingsprotocol bedacht door Julius Caesar. Geocaching is zoeken, niet hints volgen!

Syntonix' Secret Hideout (SSH) is an exciting multi-cache in the southern part of Limburg. The first assignment is an internet puzzle and the other assignments are traditional geocache points. The total cache takes at least 3.5km of walking and 25km driving. It's recommended to do this cache with a partner.
The cache is a big ammo-box filled with 50+ tradeitems. Please trade with items of equal value and don't leave perishable goods in the cache. Sign the logbook and optionally take a picture with the cache camera (both items have to stay in the cache!). If the cache camera is full, the pictures will be published on this website. It's important that the cache is left the same way as it has been found.
Only with the utmost need for help on location, you can make use of the emergency-line (the coördinates mentioned above). Laptop users: It's possible to access a free WiFi hotspot on this location, using the network name 'interpret'.

For the encryption of e.g. hints, geocaching.com uses the ROT13 encryption protocol. ROT stands for "rotate" and the figure 13 tells how many positions the letters in the alfabet move up. A becomes N, Z becomes M. Because it's too easy for geocachers to use the "decrypt"-button on geocaching.com, the hint for this cache isn't encrypted with ROT13 but with an encryption protocol thought out by Julius Caesar. Geocaching means searching, not following hints!
