Come on out for the
Geocaching-Hampton Roads Picnic
and
"mini-cache dash"!


When: Sunday, September 14th 12:30pm
Who: Cachers (individuals and families)from the Hampton Roads Area and anyone else who wishes to attend regardless of where they live.
Where: Waller Mill Park, Williamsburg VA

Waller Mill Park is a beautiful park on a 343 acre reservoir in Williamsburg, VA. Other activities available are fishing, boating, hiking and biking.

We will start with a cookout lunch around 1pm. Suggested donation: $3.00 per person over age 10. $2.00 for KidKachers 10 and under. Each cacher/caching family should also bring one item to contribute to the meal. Some suggestions would be: paper products and plasticware; drinks; salads; chips/snacks; desserts.

The hot dogs, hamburgers, and "fixins", as well as the rental for the shelter and some door prizes, will be provided with the donation money.

Several new caches will be placed for this event. There will also be a special "kids only cache" for the young ones to find. A drawing for door prizes will be held at 5:00pm (Must be present to win) You are welcome to stay and enjoy the park after that. Dinner is "on your own" The park closes at 7pm.

If you plan to attend, please log as a note stating how many will be in your party(please include all children with their ages) and what food/picnic item you would like to bring (be specific). We look forward to seeing you there!
