Park at 37 30.596, 121 49.716. Walk through the iron gate and then across the wooden bridge. Stay on the McCorkle trail all the way up. Bring plenty of water. Four hours up, 3 hours down. There is running water at the end (where the cache is), but need to be boiled, filtered or purified with tablets. Small amount of poison oak off the trail.

Wonderful views every step of the way. You might want to camp overnight. The cache is at a camp site where you can throw out your sleeping bag. The night I placed the cache we saw many shooting stars, several satellite passes, and Mars.
