Geocache Description:

SerenityNow & Finding  Fraggle Rock Present: The First NEOGEO Cache and Dashe!

car_running_md_wht.gif

Come One.... Come All!

To the most unique Geocaching event you'll ever attend!

What is the Cache and Dashe Road Rally you ask? It's puzzles, caches, games, and fun and the pieces and parts are scattered all over the North Royalton, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, and Richfield area.

Step 1:  Show up at the above coordinates at 12:30 PM on September 13, 2003 with GPS in hand and be raring to go!
The event is being held at Memorial Park Pavilion #2 on State Road just south of Route 82, next door to the North Royalton Library.

Step 2:  Develop a Team

  • One vehicle per team

  • No less than 2 players per team. In fact, we suggest that you have 3 or 4 players. It's ok to have 5 or 6 players if you'd like.... as long as you all fit in the vehicle! You'll want a driver of course, a navigator, and a clue master and maybe a master puzzle solver.

  • Don't have a team? Come anyway and we'll be sure you get in a vehicle with the friendliest bunch of geocachers ever!

Step 3:  Receive your game pieces and instructions

  • Be on time so you don't miss one single piece of information! Late comers will be at a distinct disadvantage!!

  • Decide which team members are in charge of which game aspects

Step 4: Look over the clues and map and attempt to plan your strategy. Just remember, the fastest is not always the wisest!

Step 5:  When the Cache and Dashe Master yells "GO!" head for your vehicle and hit the road! (All normal laws and rules of the road apply!)

Special Notes:

  • As part of the event, 3 new permanent caches will be placed that can be claimed on Geocaching.com.

  • Multiple prizes will be awarded!

  • Children are welcome! Be sure, however, that they can tolerate an extended period of time in a vehicle.

  • The Cache and Dashe course will not take you any farther than 7.5 miles from the starting point in any direction.

What to Bring:

  • A GPS

  • A compass is strongly suggested

  • A pen or pencil

  • Scrap paper

  • Camp or lawn chairs

  • A side dish or dessert to share with at least 8-10 people

  • $4.00 per person (12 years of age and above) to defray costs

What Will Be Provided:

  • Picnic tables under a covered pavilion

  • Pizza and wings

  • Pop, coffee, and water

  • Paper plates, cups, napkins, silverware

  • Table covers

  • Trophies and prizes
