Geocache Description:

Leave that thing alone

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. This is a Multi-Drop cache. Expect about a 1.5 mile round trip hike.

Note: You will need to bring one of the files with you to complete all parts of the cache (the file was last updated on 5/15/13).

[ BRIEFING ]

Counterintelligence Commander, Ivan Caldwell, is missing and feared captured. Caldwell was traced to a local motel where he checked in but never checked out. A search of his room uncovered nothing unusual, except for a scrap of paper taped to the underside of a nightstand drawer.

A scan of his computer uncovered three password protected files, and an unsent e-mail:

SFKC.pdf
SFPL.pdf

These files likely hold the key to Caldwell's disappearance.

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

Your assignment is to analyze Caldwell's files and investigate the information obtained therein.

This is an extremely covert and potentially dangerous field mission. It is imperative that you avoid detection. Be aware of your surroundings and keep moving.

Remember: Your computer is not a secure communication channel. Due to the sensitive nature of this operation, do not put any details of your findings in your computer log.

[ SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION ]

Angelina Kurt is one of our embeds in the SF2062 organization. She has not checked in since Caldwell's disappearance. This could be merely a coincidence, as it is not unusual for an undercover Agent to go extended periods without contact. But Kurt's loyalty is in question, so this coincidence is worrisome. Her handler has been detained for questioning. No further information is available at this time.

[ NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR ]

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting into Caldwell's files... he has a habit of creating a series of passwords by rotating the letters in a keyword.
Whatever you do, don't let those files out of your possession.

** DIRECTOR'S UPDATE **

The communications device was located, but surveillance indicated no SF2062 activity in that vicinity. A field operative has confiscated the device and taken it to Area 54 for your analysis. You'll need to use the number sequence derived from the SFPL document to access that site.

Good luck, and be careful out there... I don't have to remind you what's at stake.
