This cache was archived and is again available in a slightly different place since the original location was destroyed and the cache was missing. This is a drive up cache. Buttermilk Falls (also called Bridal Veil) is a little known surprise near the entrance to William Paterson College. Most people pass it and never know it is there.
Drive to corner of Overlook and Belmont in North Haledon. Park in the Mini Mart and buy a soda. Owner is a nice guy. Walk up the hill and go in woods on the left. The falls must be real nice in the spring. The area is pretty and may have been quarried at one time. The cache is a small bottle containing only a log. . Reception may not be too good here with the rocky cliffs so be patient.
