Corvette 50th Birthday Cache Mystery Cache

This site is located on private property adjacent to a county road. There is easy access and adequate space to park. Please do not block the driveway or venture more than 75 feet from the paved road to respect the privacy of the property owners. Permission has been granted by the owners to use their property. This cache is 1975 miles from Bowling Green, KY. You must solve the trivia quiz below to determine the exact coordinates of the site.

This cache is devoted to the Chevrolet Corvette in celebration of its 50th Anniversary and sponsored by the Glass Odyssey Corvette Club. The cache is a a 9.5 cup rectangular Ziploc container. It has been spray painted so don't expect to see clear plastic. The contents of this cache are/should be related to Corvettes or at least the automobile hobby. When trading items, please try to keep the theme in mind. Signature items are the only exception. You will be hunted down in the fastest Vette available if you break the theme! (Ha, just kidding!)

Also initially placed in this cache is a travel bug with a Corvette attached whose intended destination is Bowling Green, Kentucky, home of the National Corvette Museum and the GM Corvette assembly plant. In order to deduce the correct coordinates of the cache, you need to answer the following Corvette Trivia Quiz! Simply use the last digit of each answer for the necessary digit of the cache coordinates, N 47° 41.ABC W 122° 39.DEF, where A, B, C, D, E, and F are found below:

Getting to this cache is the easy part. Once you've decoded the trivia and calculated your coordinates, drive up to the location and park on the side of the road. The owner of the property has given permission for Geocaching on his property. The cache is located within 75 feet of the road. Do not search further than 75 feet from the road. You will have the correct coordinates when you see an address sign in the shape of a large black circular saw. Stored in the Cache is a letterbox. The letterbox is not the same as the logbook. Do not remove the contents of the letterbox from the cache except to log your find. To log your letterbox find:

• Bring with you to the cache:
  1. Personal letterbox logbook.
  2. Personal stamp (optional)
  3. Ink pad
• Remove the stamp from the letterbox and stamp your own letterbox logbook with it.
• Use your personal stamp to stamp the logbook in the letterbox.
• Replace all items.

This letterbox is the fourth of many to be placed. Once they are all placed, a prize will be awarded for obtaining all of the required stamps. Stay tuned for more information. For now, enjoy the letterboxing sport!

Chances are you will find one of my glow-in-the-dark signature items in this cache. The tokens were made by Token Factory and are (in my opinion) the coolest things I've ever seen!
