Geocache Description:

This cache named for one of Rhode Island’s more scenic inland spots – the Stepstone Falls in West Greenwich.

Although there is a quick route to find this cache, we suggest that cachers continue to follow the Ben Utter Trail and enjoy a hike through some of Rhode Island’s peaceful woodlands. Some of the features of the area include the falls, an abandoned picnic area, and an old mill site, not to mention the Falls River itself. There's also a new cache at the other end of the Ben Utter trail, so they make a great 2-in-1 trip! You can find the other cache, Japanese Rhode Island exchange, here.

Cache is a small green plastic lock-n-lock marked with the geocaching.com sticker. Inside are trading goodies and a logbook. This is a popular spot for hikers, so discretion may be required when searching for the cache. Please rehide the cache as you found it – it should not be viewable to the casual observer.

Because the cache keeps getting muggled, as of March 17, 2020, you are now looking for a larger sized bison tube.

Please remember to cache in/trash out, sign the log and trade kindly!
