"No Cache Value" Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

madfamily: Looks like this one was vandalized. Lots of evidence of night time activity, so since this is the second time I guess it is the end of the cache location.

"No Cache Value" will be resurrected in the future at another location.

Geocache Description:

"No Cash Value" token cache created/maintained by a 7 year old neighborhod kid. Quiet local green/preserve only known to the local neighborhood but a peaceful visiting spot. Very easy access, easy cache, bring a token to swap (arcade tokens, souvenier tokens, etc).

After finding his first cache, our seven year old (now 8) decided to offer "no cash value" tokens for swap and trade via this cache. Bring one or more of those leftover game/arcade/amusement/souvenier coins/tokens we all have lying around in our "junk drawers" and swap with the cache!

Location is a small preserve/green ringed with tall pine trees - a quiet, peaceful spot, with a picnic table and large open grass field, well maintained for quiet enjoyment. Cache is a black "elbow" with a white screw cap.

Cache started with: Spread Eagle "no cash value" gold token, Clown face "family amusement center" silver token, Wildwood NJ "Mariner's Arcade" silver token from early 90's, Lady Liberty/Dual Horse Shoe "good luck" silver token, 5 "Chuck E Cheese" tokens dated Qty 2-2002, Qty 2-2003, Qty 1-2000. Also a small log book.

UPDATE 04/2004: Cache re-started with Moun10Bike Wooden nickel (Moun10Bike is a popular Seattle geocacher), "The World's Largest carousel" token, Benjamin Franklin Shell's Famous Faces token, Old NYC Bridge Token (valuable?), SportsWorld Amusement Park token, Geocoin, and a Where's George $1 bill. Also a small log book.

Please be sure to cover it well so the local dog walkers don't find it! Cache manager will be checking often and looks forward to swapping with the other treasure hunters out there!
