The first gathering of the New York City and Metropolitan Area Geocachers
Group. Membership is open to all who are in the Metropolitan Area or to those
who geocache within the Metropolitan Area, so don't be shy. Membership in this
social group is free to all. Come on out and meet the geocachers of the area,
have some lunch and get some caches on the Palisades. The event will be held at
the State Line Lookout which borders New York and New Jersey, just off the
Palisades Interstate Parkway, starting at 11:00 am.
Directions are as follows:
>From the Palisades Interstate Parkway (northbound): The exit for State Line
Lookout is about 2 miles north of Exit 2.
>From the Palisades Interstate Parkway (southbound): Stay in the left lane
after passing Exit 3. Take the U-turn (well marked). Use caution, as you will
need to get into the right lane immediately to exit to State Line Lookout.
This will be a pot luck luncheon, so, replies to the event page as to what
people are bringing would be appreciated.
