Geocache Description:

We have went out an replanted this cache for your enjoyment.

The cache is not at the above posted coordinates. Read this cache page to find them.

After our first cache here was toasted, well even fried, we finally had the time to make the run out and redo this cache. Due to the erosion troubles that will happen in this area, we have relocated the ammo can out where things where still green and the ground mostly flat.

This is a nice little out of the way spot. Way out and it used to be way nice until the fire. This is a very unusual area and is not marked on any recently made maps that I have seen. And very few people know it is here. Mostly word of mouth, and well now I guess this way. I will not tell you what this place is about but you will not be disappointed. You could start in several different places to get here and the weather will play a big part in it. Also, as the roads here can get real rough, And as the weather can change in a matter of minutes from great to good to okay to bad to uh oh, We recommend using something with high clearance and a good suspension. Also make sure your topped off on fuel and have a good spare tire before getting off to this one. Pack a lunch, a camera and binoculars as you should be seeing lots of wildlife - Elk, Turkeys, Deer, Birds of Pray : Osprey and Eagles and hawks.

If your coming from the North, Swing through Madras or Culver and The Cove Palisades in to this cache, and possibly the best route for scenery. And if your coming from the South, trip in from Sister through the Indian Ford crossing,

If your coming over from the wet side, Try coming over the hump from Camp Sherman. -1107 road - Anyway, the cords above are for the view. Start off by finding this spot. Now, if after the view, best seen at sunrise or sunset, you still want to find the cache, you will need to go to : N 44:34.696 X W 121:25.165.

It seems as a lot of people are after a good hunt as well as the location so I placed this cache away from the main attraction(s).

There are lots of other items around as well. If you do look for the cache - a smaller size ammo can painted off green - and do not find it, let me know the secret of this location and I will send more clues. We left the mag 330 sit and average for around 10 minutes but there is some tree cover right above.

In the mean time, try strolling around a little bit and then sit down somewhere - not to hard - and be careful of what might be underneath you. There "was" a neat crooked Ponderosa Pine standing real close by and another just off a ways.
