This page will be developed with more information. The coordinates above are correct. This event cache is not a race to the cache, but is more of a game of chance so everyone has a good chance to win.
Last year we were not able to hide actual traditional cache containers, but the great people of Rockdale County Parks and Recreation are going to let us hide caches in the selected park. This will make this years game even more fun than last year!!!
The event will tentatively run from 1PM thru 4PM. Please be at the coordinates listed by 12 noon. We will have food and refreshments at the event base and water/gatorade stations in the field of play. You must travel by foot to your caches. Groups playing with one GPS must stay together as and hunt one cache at a time.
NOTE: The coordinates above are for the parking area. Parking is limited. Once the parking area is full you will need to park at the overflow parking area. The coordinates for overflow parking are N 33° 35.833' and W 84° 05.798'. A shuttle bus will bring you to the event. Rockdale County will be providing our shuttle bus!
You can pay at the event, but please log the cache page stating that you are coming to play and how many GPS's you are going to enter. You may pay at the October GGA meeting or you can pay via PayPal. Fees will be applied to the cost of food, drinks and supplies to run the game. There will be plenty of food and drinks. It looks like we will have burgers and hot dogs and some additional goodies to go with them.
Only one GPS per group or player.
There is a $12.00 fee per GPS to play.
