Geocache Description:

The Glasites were nicknamed the 'Kail Kirkers' after their habit of eating meals together.

This building was originally their meeting place, founded in the early 18th Century by John Glas. It has since served as a church hall for St. Pauls church.

If you look at the church opposite, despite its sad state, you can clearly see that it is an unusual octagonal shaped building. Rumour has it developers are going to change this church into a pub - obviously Perth hasn't got enough of those!
