Geocache Description:

In the 1870's, John Young and his wife Anna moved here and built the Lone Oak Farm immediately north of the cache site. When completed, it was considered "...the finest house in this part of the country." Restored in the 1990's, it is now a private residence.

John Young was also a trustee of the Highland School which was founded in 1879. The school building was located in the grove of trees near the cache site. In 1891, Highland School joined with Townsend, Inman, and May Schools to form Livermore Union High School Number 1, the first public union high school in California.

This cache has a similar "container" as the Summit Garage cache...but this one is "hidden"...

A BIG congrats to the "mini cacher" for the FTF!!!
