Cache is a magnetic keysafe
The coordinates take you to a lovely little drinking fountain near Branklyn Gardens, just off Dundee Road.
In 2003, a traffic accident involving a heavy goods vehicle resulted in serious damage to the decorative drinking fountain known as The Lovers Well. The Perth and Kinross Heritage trust arranged restoration of the fountain, however only about a quarter of the original material could be reused and many elements including the carved panel and decorative columns had to be copied using local sculptor and stone mason, Billy Trail at a cost of just under £10,000. This restoration was unveiled in 2005.
I've tried searching for some history behind the well but I've been unsuccessful. Any tips are welcome.
Seems that there used to be a cache here before I started caching. All previous finders of the old cache are free to find and log this new one. Hopefully this one will last.
