Geocache Description:

A micro cache next to the river bank. Located just off the Pathway next to the Riover Almond.

This is named as it is, as when the river was last in spate, the cache location was an island. However, now things have settled it is back to being the normal river bank.

On the way to or from this cache you will be able to see "The Tree on the Edge" better. Also located close by are sand-martin nests. The river is a popular feeding ground for Heron, otters and Kingfishers, although I have still to see an otter!

The cache is micro so please bring your own pen/pencil, and it is above ground level.

If you look at the selection of stones around I would highly recommend their skimming properties!

Take a moment also to sniff the wild garlic, yum.
