Geocache Description:

The Miley is a local urban wildlife reserve maintained by volunteer members of the Scottish Wildlife Trust. It is part of the disused Dundee to Newtyle railway line and extends a distance of about a 1 mile from Loons Road in the south to Clepington Road in the north. A path runs the entire length of the reserve.
It is a secluded, almost completely hidden, area which provides a peaceful haven from the surrounding urban sprawl.

The northern access is from Clepington Road just across from the back of the Kingsway West retail park. The southern access is well hidden. It starts from Loons Road at Old Kings Cross Road where parking is available for a few cars. Both ends are marked by wrought iron gates. There is also an access on Harefield Road by the lights at Kings Cross Road, opposite the council depot. The route can be cycled in its entirety, but the Harefield Road gate is not bike friendly.
In wet weather the path can get quite boggy and muddy in places.

The cache is a small locking box with room for swaps and TBs. If travelling from north to south, this cache is located off the left hand side of the path, up the banking. This cache used to be Miley 2, but with a wee bit of jiggling around, I've managed to add another two caches to this series.
