The Green Circular is a long established walking and cycling route which circumnavigates Dundee. This 26 mile long leisure route links the city’s parks and places of interest. The "Dundee Cycle Map" which maps the Green Circular is available free from libraries, visitor attractions and council premises or visit www.dundeecity.gov.uk/outaccess The section of the Green Circular takes in parts of National cycle Routes 1 and 77.
Grassy Beach runs from the Stannergate, along the seafront to Douglas Terrace in the Ferry. This relatively flat stretch has stunning views up and down the river and over to Fife and is particularly popular with walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. It has recently been upgraded and is now buggy and wheelchair friendly. The main East coast rail line runs immediately to the north of this stretch of the Green Circular.

Grassy beach deserves a cache big enough to hold goodies for children so here's one. It may be a bit more challenging to find as it's on the beach side of the railings.
