Geocache Description:

The Gunnar Nilsson & Mickey Lammers Research Forest is located at the junction of the Klondike Highway and Takhini Hotsprings road, north of Whitehorse. Please park at the gated entrance (entrance along Klondike Highway) and walk or bike inside the property. Keep your bikes on the trails. There is an established, marked trail system. All trails are easy and best used in the summer. There are many trails here so plan your day well. Dogs and bikes are welcome.

To find the Kettle Lake, follow the Kettle Lake trail on the local map (copies are available at the Forest entrance or on our website). This cache is near the disapearing lake (or pond). Reminder to not place food or smelly products in the geocaches. This area is home to several animals.

Container is a medium rectangle container.

  • 1 backpack reflector
  • 1 fork and spoon set
  • 1 small log book
