Geocache Description:

"I have no one to call my friend
the road I travel has no end
and so I turn my face up to the sun
and walk on down the road to kingdom come."

Road to Kingdom Come is the second track on Lindisfarne's debut album "Nicely out of Tune". Written by Rod Clements with lead vocals by Ray Jackson. This cache (one of a series of 3) is on North Bank (the old A1) not too far from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne where lots of pilgrims still follow St Cuthberts Way so maybe for some this is the road to kingdom come?

Also, Northumberland is sometimes known as the 'Secret Kingdom'.
