Geocache Description:

I am a train enthusiast and happened onto this old Santa Fe station, and thought I might share this discovery with any other geocaching train lovers.

The depot was the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe/Missouri-Kansas-Topeka Depot. It was originally built in 1909 at a cost of $40,000. April 30, 1971 was the last time a passenger train departed from the depot. In 1983-84 the depot was restored to what you see today. Some of the artifacts of the period are still in the depot, and can be seen on a limited basis.

After you've found the cache you can get the certificate below. The password is the initials of the current user in lower case (i.e. Shoemakers Guild of Boston would be: sgob).
