Second in a number of caches for the Kawagama Lake area. Because
there just aren't enough of them. Terrain on this one is steep, but
the view is worth it. Be careful as there are some steep drops in
the area.
Flowing out of Kawagama Lake is the Hollow river, tucked away from
Haliburton Road #8 is a small set of falls. The cache is located
near those falls. There is limited parking at the staging area
located at N45° 15.396 W078° 51.503. Please be careful as the slope
can be slippery at times and its a long quick ride to the bottom.
Best route is to go up the rockface to the trail on top and then
back down to the cache.
The Cache is in a standard Rubbermaid container and contains the
following:
Compass/Whistle
Canadian blow up beach ball
Wooden model
Flashing superball
Allen key set
Canada keychain
Keychain from my hometown
compass/thermometer biner keychain
The cache is located about 130m from the staging area.
Look for the cache where something has fallen.
