Continue east along the Old High Street to the paved High
Street. Walk along here, glancing at the pavement as you wander
through the pedestrian area.

of Markets and Fairs of Perth.

Continue to the end of the High Street and cross over to the
riverside (Tay Street). Turn left and walk towards the bridge.
There is a sculpture here on a green pedestal of a bird of prey
catching a fish.

Turn away from the bridge and return along Tay street looking at
the artwork along the way.
Closeby is a wall sculpture of a skeleton-like fish, with the
word MACNAB underneath. There is also a word above this fish.

Continue further along until you reach another Information
Board. It records how a woman - Georgina Ballantine caught the
heaviest fish on record by rod on 7th October 1922.

This is a very popular walk, so discretion needed from muggles
behind you, above you, and from the overlooking flats! Best to take
