In immediate nearness of the town is located „GEHAANSBIERG „where is an observation tower. At the moment of the Celts the summit of the mountain was used as a cult site, here later one established a castle whose ruins are to be visited even today. Every year at Saint Johann a procession takes place here.The observation tower offers an impressive panorama about the town and the region.
