Watch your step as you climb up this steep but manageable
grade
"The Central Ontario Geocachers Series has been placed by a
group of cachers to further promote caching in our area.
These caches will take you to places that we know and love as
residents of the area and we hope that you will enjoy them as much
as we have enjoyed placing them! Our area is one of the most
beautiful locations in Ontario being bordered by the Oak Ridges
Moraine to the South, and Cottage Country to the North containing
Highlands, Lowlands, vast forested areas, lakes, rivers, and
wetlands."
The elevation changes well over 200 feet during the climb to the
top of this Oro/Medonte hill. If you are like me the climb up
will require several stops to catch your breath.
When the leaves are off the trees you can see for many miles
from up here and after you find the cache you may want to explore a
bit further down the trail.
Take your time and enjoy the view. Remember the walk back down
may be harder than the walk up.
