A short walk from the car, giving a lovely view of the Monastery, and the hills behind. There are 4ft high nettles here.
I love this view of the Monastery, with sheep in the foreground, and the hills behind, would make a lovely painting.
St. Mary's Monastery is at the foot of Kinnoul Hill (its north side), tucked away amongst the trees, only its towers being visible from Perth. Very little is heard of this place of spirituality, probably a retreat?
The GPS may not be accurate due to the tree cover here.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the nettles.
