This is a log only cache, please bring your own writing instrument.

A chip wagon is southwest of the trailhead. If you stop in when it is not busy ask the owner about the pilgrimage that happens in August. They are happy to point out interesting spots that are visible from their lookout. They are open 11am until 7pm until the end of October in 2005 and will reopen at the end of April in 2006. (No, we are not related.)
