One of the 3 geocaches you need to find to obtain the codes required to complete the NSR series. Don't forget to take note of the code on the black container. Look halfway between the gates and stay on railtrail property.
Bring really small items to trade or feel free to just sign the logbook. Please bring your own writing instrument.
If you are approaching from the south, the trail goes through an active cattle farm. The gates on the trail are not there to keep you out but to keep the cows on the farm. Open the gates so that you can pass through and make sure you close the gates properly behind you.
Wearing a bike helmet if approaching from the north may be a good thing.
The NSR series consists of 4 geocaches that were placed to encourage you to enjoy the entire original 14.5 kilometres of the North Simcoe RailTrail. You need to find NSR1 – Chip Wagon (GCQV67), NSR2 - T Time (GCQV6J) and NSR3 - Willow Creek (GCQV6X) and pick up the codes from each one before attempting NSR Final – Crossings (GCQV6Q).
The recommended parking area is at a parkette that has picnic tables at N44 26.399 W79 48.156
