Geocache Description:

Uphill walk along good tracks most of the way. Steep Drop near the trig. so please take care. A great area for a pic-nic.

Tarsappie and Moncrieffe Hills are managed by the Woodland Trust for Scotland, and this trig point is situated on the remains of a small fort.

The hill is half way between the River Tay to your north, and the River Earn directly south.

Red Squirrels are to be found here.

Waymarked trails take you around the two hills, and parking can be found at N56.21.460/W003.22.347.

The cache is hidden below the hill fort, just beside a narrow trail. GPS signals are a bit eratic here, but the clue should help you.

Steep tracks take you to this cache, with a narrow grassy path at the final part. It would be possible to take a buggy as there are no gates etc. as long as a robust buggy and strong arms.

Thank you to Big Tree Country and Woodland Trust Scotland for permission for this cache.
