Flat rutted walk all way to cache. Muddy at times, and used by tractors. Only suitable for a buggy on the grassy centre during the summer.
A walk along the route of the dismantled Caledonian Railway track, between arable farmland.
This was the old Perth , Almondbank and Methven railway line that was opened in 1956, with a platform at Ruthven Road Halt. It also served the old bottling plant of Dewars on the Dunkeld road, but was finally closed in 1951.
You may be able to spot Huntingtower Castle amongst the trees to the right as you follow this track.
