LOTR title

I have created a series of caches that are based on JRR Tolkien trilogy the Lord of the rings. These caches do not have to be completed in order; however you will need to collect clues in some caches to complete other caches later in the series. There will be six sub-series of caches one for each of the original six books. I will try to incorporate an event or place from the books into each cache. You will need do research or find clues in the books. Some answers may be found in the movies. In each cache you will find a clue that you will need in order to find the final cache for each book. The final cache in each book will then provide a clue to a master cache at the end of all six series. Be sure to write down each clue. I have used three different references to collect the facts for these caches, the movies, a three book paper back set and the 50th Anniversary Edition both printed by Houghton Mifflin. Good luck and have fun working on and completing these caches.

Book One Series: (GCV6K4)

Book Two Series:
LOTR 2-2 The Council Of Elrond (GCW2CH)
LOTR 2-6 Lothlórien (GCW2CR)

So here begin the true fellowship of the ring at the council of Elrond. We are introduced to Legolas the messenger from the Eleves of northern Mirkwood, Gimli a son from the Lonely Mountain and Boromir a man from the south. At the council Elrond tells the tail of the forging of the rings of power by the Elven-smiths of Eregion in the second age. Sauron befriended them to betray them and forge the One Ring. Celebrimbor the maker of the Three Rings of power hide them from Sauron and was killed by Sauron for not reveling where they were hidden. There after the Last Alliance of Elves and Men was formed to destroy Sauron. In the last battle of Dagorlad on the slopes of Orodruin, Isildur cut the One Ring from the hand of Sauron with the hilt-shard of Narsil by Isildur.
