Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of nine. The cache is not at the above listed coordinates.

To solve each puzzle, place the objects in the matrix in the appropriate series order along with the coordinates, and the location of the cache will become apparent.

*Example* of puzzle and decryption of the matrix is provided below. The solution coordinates are for the example only, and not for the puzzle below.
(Example #1)
The solution can be derived by placing the items in the series in the appropriate order with the grid coordinates as below.
(Solution to Example #1)
Here the solution coordinates can be read to match the coordinates at the top of the page.
After puzzle #2, the origin may be shifted to anywhere within the grid and wrap-around to the other side. The values you will need to shift back to the original coordinates will be the ones that provide 045.xx.xxx (or xxx.xx.540) and 122.yy.yyy (or yyy.yy.221) coordinates as the final solution. Latitude/Longitude may be on either axis. Example and solution provided as links below.
(Example #2)
(Solution to Example #2)

If you are able to determine what the entries represent, the solution should be apparent. There are no intentional tricks (eg - last 8 Oscar-winning directors in order of birth weight). However, I did have to take some liberties to prevent this from becoming nothing but a Google-hunt. One puzzle is a tribute to another cacher whose series partially inspired this one.

Once coordinates are known, the finds should be relatively easy. Some are in open public areas, so stealth may be required.

There are FTF prizes in all caches except the micros. One has a video game, the others have coupons redeemable for free beverages, up to $8 value. Good luck!
