How it works:

On Saturday, the locations of 30 Caches with First Finder Prizes will be released at 11:30 a.m. Each cache contains a rubber duckie with a number on it, a rubber stamp and a log book. If you find a rubber duckie, GRAB IT! Bring it to the registration table to claim your FTF prize! Even if there isn’t a duck in the cache, stamp your passport with the rubberstamp to be eligible to win one of 50 FABULOUS prizes donated by local area merchants.

Sign your name to the log if you are interested in claiming the cache when it goes live on Geocaching.com shortly after the event. (Not all caches will become permanent.)

Sunday, 20 more cache locations will be released for 20 more chances to be FTF or put stamps in your passport for entry into the raffle!

Turn in your passport and FTF rubber ducks by 3:30 pm on Sunday at the registration table.

You can play one or both days.

The Celebration!

On Sunday at 5:00 p.m., join us at the Celebration Party in the Stanford Room at the Embassy Suites Hotel where complimentary snacks and beverages will be served and we’ll start drawing winners out of the pot for the 50 incredible prizes donated by our local sponsors. That’s a lot of prizes!

Everybody Wins!

Even if you don't win a prize, you will go on adventures and see the very best that South Lake Tahoe has to offer! From crystal blue water to mountain trails to casinos, you'll be seeing South Lake Tahoe in a whole new and fun way! Last year over 500 people played and they all had a blast!

How are the locations released?

Locations will be delivered electronically to the email address you provide in your online registration. Printed packets will also be handed out in person at registration or we can hand you a CD disk with the data.

Don't have a GPS? Rent One!

Free GPS Rentals and instruction will be available to the first 100 takers at the registration table in the Embassy Suites Hotel.
