Geocache Description:

Team Marzipan's (GC15RYZ) The Mother Cache was placed to celebrate their 100th cache hide. The object of The Mother Cache is for finders to take one of the ready-made caches from inside the Mother Cache and then hide it as a Daughter Cache.

I found The Mother Cache. So here is my daughter cache! It is close by a bridge over the Lancaster Canal with views over open countryside. You can approach this on foot from four different directions and you can certainly gain access to the canal towpath by push bike too. There is no parking close by so you will need to plan your route carefully. An option would be to park in the village of Woodplumpton, grab GCNGYF (Woodplumpton Witch) and walk on from there or park at GC126G7 (Pont Trente Et Un). The cache is a long thin tube that takes a log and pencil only. Please be very careful in removing and replacing so as not to damage the hiding place. If you find the cache exposed and cannot re-hide in the same place, please let me know.
