***This cache is a replacement for (GC2R5NX) which was archived. Cache is now hidden in a different location but all the rest remains the same. Those who logged (GC2R5NX) can also log this as a new find if you wish. The code for the combination lock is the same as before (If you can't remember send me an email and i'll let you know)***
The cache is the sixth and final cache of the Pete's Puzzle series. This cache can be found at the above co-ordinates. However you will not be able to open the cache until you have first solved and logged the 5 puzzle caches in this series. The cache is a small metal box with a combination lock which requires a 3 digit number to unlock it. Here are the links to the 5 puzzle caches in this series:-
Pete's Puzzle 1 (GC2EQET)
Pete's Puzzle 2 (GC2ETJ2)
Pete's Puzzle 3 - Boxa Races (GC2EVT8)
Pete's Puzzle 4 - In Search of Bigger Numbers (GC2FHQ1)
Pete's Puzzle 5 - The First Launch (GC2QKE7)
This cache has a 5 star difficulty rating which has nothing to do with how the cache is hidden but only because of the work that needs to be done before this can be logged. There is nothing tricky about the hide and there is nothing tricky about calculating the 3 digit number to unlock the cache. No puzzle here just a bit of simple maths. The log book for each of the 5 caches mentioned above contains a 2 digit number. To get the code all you need to do is add these 5 numbers together giving you the 3 digit code which will unlock the cache and enable you to log your find.
The cache is about 0.4 miles away from a car park at N51 11.273 and E000 14.202. This car park requires a ticket which can be purchased from the main car park at Haysden Country Park.
After logging please ensure the cache is properly locked with the numbers on the lock mixed up and the cache is well hidden in its hiding spot.
I hope you have enjoyed the puzzles in this series
