Indiana & Raider - The Folly Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

Located in parkland.

This cache will provide you with a Civilisation and a numerical value for that Civilisation.
The value on the inside cover of the log book.
By visiting and collecting the information from the other traditional caches in the series will enable you to help Indiana Jones & Fantasyraider find the Lost Key Room and then hopefully The Lost & Locked Ark!
The full list of the caches you need to visit can be found on The Lost Key Room - GC18R87.

Please bring your own pen to sign the log, you aint got a pen? you aint a cacher!

The folly was built as a smoking room for Sir Charles Woodall as his missus didn't like him chuffing on his pipe back in the mansion, now demolished.
By the river, on either side of the folly you can see the structures that are all that remain of the two wells that used to provide Old Colwyn with water before mains water sourced from Llyn Cowlyd - GC109ZW in Snowdonia arrived in the village in 1898.
Easiest parking is on Beach Road and offers best views of The Folly, now a private house, at N53 17.426 W3 41.942
