Located near the South Fork of the Ahtanum Creek at 3100 ft. elevation. You're looking for a 5x5x6 inch Lok-n-Lok box.
Pretty valley drive that takes you deep into the mountains west of Yakima. Popular deer and elk hunting area. Drive west of Yakima to Tampico and take the S. Fork Ahtanum Rd. and follow your GPS. Pavement turns to good gravel road, so is accessible to any vehicle. Park at the gated side road and walk a short 200 ft. to the cache.
Note: Winter time access may require a snow mobile or other means. Snowshoe, XC skis, etc or chains on your 4x4.
