Go to the given coordinates. There you will find a plaque that contains information you will need to find the cache.
You are interested in the “sad” date.
To calculate the latitude of the cache, subtract the day of the month from 87, and plug it into the decimal portion of latitude N51 04.0xx, with a leading zero.
To calculate the longitude of the cache, take the last 3 digits of the year of that sad date, subtract 310 from that number, and plug it into the decimal portion of longitude W113 59.xxx. Notice how you will cross over a meridian to get to the cache.
It should be an easy find, because there aren’t really many hiding places around. The cache is not far away (just over 500 meters). You can follow the paved pathway almost right to it.
