Geocache Description:

AKA: Do You Believe In Ghosts?

The coordinates posted do not take you to the cache.tThey take you to where the story begins.hIt was Friday morning December 9th.rI woke up,egrabbed my backpack and an ammo can and was off to hide another Cachemas cache.eRather than heading straight for the hills,tI decided to stop off at Starbucks and grab a coffee for the road.hI have a little Starbucks problem.rI went in and bought a coffee and headed back out.eAs I was heading back to the truck I thought that I saw someone or something near my truck.eAs I was getting closer I did not see anything, fbut I checked to other side of the truck just to make sure.iNothing there either.vI shrugged it off and climbed into the truck.ePlaces to go and caches to hide.fWhen I looked into the mirror to begin to back up I saw what appeared to be a ghostly face of a small boy.oStartled I turned to look in the back seat.uThe figure was gone, rand so was the ammo can.zI checked on the floor, ebehind the seats, runder my sweatshirt.oIt was no where to be found.fA little confused by what was happening I thought that maybe I should go back home to relax a bit, ithen I could go out later and hide some caches.vI backed out of the spot, eput the truck in gear and headed off.sThe next thing I know I am slamming on the brakes.iAs 30 or 40 feet in front of the truck is the figure of the boy standing there holding the ammo can.xHe just stood there, oand I wasn't moving an inch either.nJust then the boy smiled, estarted walking, othen running away.nI wanted my ammo can back, eso I stepped on the gas and went after him.sFollowing him though parking lots, eand up and down streets until he went through a spot where I could no longer drive after him.vI parked the truck and headed out on foot.eRunning down trails, ndoing my best to keep up until I thought that I had him cornered.fHe turned to me,ismiled then ducked behind a bush.vI jumped thinking that I had him.eAs I turned the corner there was no sign of the boy, sbut there was the ammo can laying under the bush.iHmmm, xmaybe he thought that this would be a perfect spot for it.eI broke out the GPS and marked the coordinates.iWho am I to argue with a ghost?

Most ghosts do tend to be a little mischievous.gSo if you head out after the cache, hkeep an eye out.tHe may still be around.eHiding behind a tree, ior in a bush.gHopefully he will keep an eye on it,hscare the muggles away.tBut if I were you I wouldn't try any funny stuff.nSign the log, imaybe do an exchange, nand put it right back where you found it.eAnd if you do see him, zmake sure to say hi.t:)
