Geocache Description:

This is an offset cache. At the stated coordinates there is a plaque next to a magnificent native oak tree that is the burial spot of an indigenous person believed to be of the Suisun tribe. There are two years listed on the plaque. The first is the year the person was buried and the second is the year the plaque was dedicated. To calculate the latitude (the 38 14.xxx part) of the cache: Add up the four digits of the first year. Multiply that number by 11 and then add 16. This is the xxx of the new latitude. To calculate the longitude (the 122 07.yyy part) of the cache: Add up the four digits of the second year. Multiply that number by 16 and then add 2. This is the yyy of the new longitude. If you don’t have enough digits use a leading zero. Both the plaque and the cache are on the grounds of Solano Community College. Depending upon when you go you may encounter parking problems. The cache is a painted Tylenol bottle so keep your items small.
