Geocache Description:

Located on abandoned trolly line that bisected Manhan meadows in East Meadows section of Northampton in late 1800's. Historical cache. Plastic container with paperwork inside.

Cache rehidden 11/19 after flooding. Contents dried out, rebagged and replaced at much easier site to get to. Hardly any poison ivy on path leading to site area.

I drove to parking area from Old Springfield Road off Rt 5, but there are other ways in from Route 10 (S.Park Terrace).

Park/drive to N42° 17.952 x W72° 38.771. Distance to site is .33 mi. Follow path along corn field to corner of field where trailhead begins. General items for exchange.

Anyone discouraged by the difficulty of Manhan and Mill River Mystery will find this one much more enjoyable.
