Here you will experience orienteering, letterbox,and compass skills.
you will be asked to correctly answer questions to move on to the next hippopotamus.
Basic geocaching skills apply: hunt, search, scratch.something will get your attention.
Equipment needed: GPS, Hand-Held Compass,and Notepad/Pencil.
Set your GPS to TRUE north.
Follow MAGNETIC north on hand-held compass.
The coordinates above is where you park from there the fun starts go 780 feet @ 200 degrees The first of 4 hippos is @ the base of three pine trees. you will be asked to answer A question there is only one right answer the other 2 answers take you no where. The right answer will take you to the next hippo and finally to the cache. The cache is in A green ammo box with traditional stuff inside. There is A travel bug inside this cache.There are 4 hippos to find then the cache. Hippo # 4 might give you some trouble when you find hippo #3 you will need to use your compass to find #4 the degrees might be off by 3 degrees as you can not walk a strait line to it. but it is very easy to find.
This cache took me 2 hours to hide hope it takes just as long to find ha ha.
Please leave the clues and the hippos in the hippo caches.
