Geocache Description:

Cache finally restored

Back in place near the Escarpment rail trail, which meanders down the escarpment following the old Grand Trunk Railway from Bernie Arbour Stadium near Upper Kenilworth and Mohawk to Corktown Park downtown. You can also hoof it up the Kimberly side trail of the Bruce Trail. Nice hike, good views of the city, lots of berries.

Cache has been moved to a new location, about 100M from the old. Sky is pretty much obscured by trees and the escarpment, but there is a clearing nearby from which you can get a decent bearing.

While the Bruce Trail is nearby, I went some distance off trail to make accidental sightings less of a problem. The terrain on all approaches, for the last 100M or so, is very rough, but without any steep climbs or potential falls. I'm not sure I can even find my own way back in, so if anyone can get better co-ordinates with an averaging receiver I would appreciate the corrections.

For those who've asked:
Parking at the top end of trail is at Mohawk Sports Park: 43 12.471, 79 49.746. Trailhead at 43 12.285, 79 49.366
Parking at lower end at Corktown Park, about 43 15.000, 79 51.876.

The best waypoint to start hunting from is still the junction of the Rail Trail and Bruce Trail. It may be possible to approach from above from Mountain Brow Blvd, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're part mountain goat.

Container is a painted (Camo theme) plastic bottle with screw on lid. Full of yer standard dollar store stuff, and a nifty music source for the first visitor.

Good luck.
