Geocache Description:

Congrats to KMDML on their FTF !!

MMM 3

I am starting a new series of Caches in the downtown Dover area. I know a few people who cache and work downtown, they are the inspiration for the series. These will be placed so that they can be found during the lunch break. All will be close to free parking and easily walked to at lunch time. All will be in High Muggle areas so Stealth is a MUST. If stealth is not your thing then wait for the weekends when Dover is not busy at all. Please take the time to look around you might be surprised at the rich History Dover has to offer. Most of this series will take you near the many Plaques and Historic sites of the area.

This is the Third in the series that will consist of 6. Please place back exactly as found. This is a log only so BYOP

I picked this site for a mmm location as it is close to the Down Town area. Old Christ Church was Founded as a Mission by the society for the propagation of the Gospel in response to a petition from twenty-two inhabitants of Dover in 1703. The present church was erected in 1734 among early missionaries here was the Rev. Charles Inglis, later first Bishop of Nova Scotia.

Parking can be found on Water Street or in the church parking lot on the other side on the cemetery. I have been given permission by the church to place this cache here. All they ask is to be respectful of the property and stick to the paths when possible. Access to the cache is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please be aware that church services will be from 8am to 1pm on Sundays. A full list of events (so you can avoid the muggles) can be found on the calendar section of churches website found here (visit link)

Note: Does not count as a find if you do not sign the log. Do not add a log if you do not find the log. Mark it as DNF or Needs Maintenance and I will check on it ASAP

HINT SPOILER: Pick up a map of the Cemetery located at the other way point listed. Locate John Banning and draw a line from top to bottom and then locate James Sykes and draw a line from left to right the cache is located roughly where the 2 line intersect. Sorry for all the confusion with the hint, I thought it was pretty straight forward.
