This part of Newport, referred to as South Beach, has a wide
variety of activities available, including the Oregon Coast
Aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, a public fishing pier
on the bay, hiking and biking trails, and more. And most important,
there are a number of geocaches in the area to hunt for while
you’re here.
This cache is an easily accessible site near the aquarium. You can
either park in one of the aquarium’s parking lots or along the road
on the west side of the cache. The cache is a 6-inch by 9-inch
plastic container with camo. Please re-hide it well.
