Geocache Description:

Come out an try out those new show shoes, or dust off those old ones, and join in some local caching on December 29th.

The exact location of the pub is yet to be determined, but will be at a local pub in Bracebridge. The posted coordinates right now point to Muskoka Outfitters. If you don’t have a pair of snow shoes, I am quite sure they will be able to help you out.

Plan for a day of snow shoe caching and dinner to warm up and swap caching stories. If you have extra shoes and or need shoes, post some notes and maybe we can get some people out who have never snow shoed before, but would like to try it out. We may even venture out for some night caching.

Snow shoes are not mandatory, but may help depending on the trail conditions.

Pub

Location is at The Griffin Pub, 9 Chancery Lane Bracebridge. Phone number is (705) 646-0438. It is neat the posted coordinates by the intersection of Taylor Rd and Manitoba St. The reservation us under Keith Watson for 6:00.

Caching

Plan to meet at 10:00 am at the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre, located north of the Muskoka River (N.Branch) and north of High Falls, east side on Highway 11. Donation forms and trail maps are at the parking lot. We will start up here and work our way toward the pub for dinner. (cache list subject to change)
