Here is a theater for the opera, the ballet that opened on October 10, 1997, the present age dance, and the play.

新国立劇場
ここは1997年10月10日にオープンしたオペラ、バレエ、現代舞踊、演劇用の劇場です。
オペラ「建・TAKERU」（團伊玖磨作曲、星出豊指揮）で今上天皇・皇后、内閣総理大臣橋本龍太郎（当時）臨席の元、杮落としされました。
オペラ劇場についての知識を浸透させる目的でオペラ劇場の裏側を見ることができるバックステージツアー（有料）も行われていますので、興味のある方は行ってみてはどうでしょうか。
尚、キャッシュは２ｍ程度の高さに設置していますので、背の低い方は取り出すのが難しいかもしれません。
