Well, that was fun. Many of us set out to do the 31 Day of Caching in August. Some will stop here, others will continue to try to complete continuous days streaks but over time we will probably all look to completely fill our days found cache calendar. Here is the first mini-milestone along the way.
It is located in Cherokee Park, one of the finer caching venues in the Louisville area. There are currently over 30 caches located in this park and another 25 located in the adjacent Seneca Park. While you are in the area sample a little of the local caching fare if you have not already done so.
The cache is at the posted coordinates but to log this cache, you must first complete the challenge. The challenge is to find a cache in each calendar day in August. These do not have to be consecutive and can span several years of caching. Previous finds do count. The easiest way to document your qualifications is by referencing your profile. If you have opted to hide your stats you can attach a screen shot of your calendar as an image to your log or you can create a bookmark list with the caches and date found.
You are looking for a small peanut butter jar hidden off the Wildflower Trail in Cherokee Park. It contains only a log so bring your own pen. Please replace as found.
9/17/15 - Cache contains a rx bottle containing a vinyl log that is best signed with a permanent marker. Pens and pencils will leave dents in the log - dents are acceptable.
