Located in Woodland Park, which is a rural gem within the city limits of Pinetop-Lakeside. The 583 acre lake and 98 acres offers something for everyone. There is an ADA-designated trail, hiking, fishing and bird watching. The path around the lake is 1 mile long (details are shown on www.wmonline.com/attract/woodland.htm. )
Unfortunately this gem is not owned by Pinetop-Lakeside but is being considered for development (see details on www.savewoodlandlakepark.org/ ).
The cache is located close to the fishing pier parking lot and a short walk from the parking lot.
But while you are here take the time to enjoy the beauty of this mountain gem.
The difficulty rating reflects the potential muggle involvement.
There is a gold silver dollar for the FTF.
